Ah that Charlie and Snoopy do make our hearts all warm and our smiles a bit larger.

    Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the info. I am in need of Robert Hoffman material that coordinates with the 3-D fabric. The LQS where I purchased the 3-d fabric did not order the entire line. Guess I'll have to find coordinating fabric elsewhere. Any suggestions on where to find Robert Hoffman? The shops in my town don't seem to carry his line.

It's not happening yet. The rep thinks that when there seemed to be a shortage of greige goods, the fabric companies bought up a lot of cloth, so that they could have access to it when they needed to print their new lines. And now they're sitting with a mix of cloth that they bought at higher prices, and some (newer) which was purchased for a bit less, but they're not willing at this point to lower their prices yet. Perhaps when they've gone through all of the high-priced unprinted cloth that they still have, then they will back down the prices a bit. But the rep says if it went up 20 cents, it might go back down just 5 cents. That, of course, is just her personal guess.

I have two more reps coming next week, and I can ask them also for their take on what's happening in the market right now.

It's just Hoffman. Not Robert Hoffman (you're thinking of Robert Kaufman, which is a different company).

The 3-D line only consisted of three fabrics. Hoffman did come out with a new line called "Bliss Blenders", and some of them probably will coordinate with the 3-D line. You can view them on Hoffman's site here: http://www.hoffmanfabrics.com/SuperS...sortmentID=290

Thanks for the info. It helps to have some insight as to why the LQS raise their prices.
