Isn't it great to see your quilts being used. I have noticed that my DL is starting to use the quilts that I have made for the grandkids and it just makes me so happy to see them.

Her mom was thrilled that I made Elizabeth Anne a quilt as she said the one I made for her first child, Claire Louise has been admired by everyone. Really made me feel good that she appreciated the work I put into the quilts. Another neice was at the reception with her 3 year old and 9 month old sons and both of their quitls were in the strolled this neice had with her. Just wanted to share this with the message board as so many times we feel that our quilts and effort aren't appreciated.

    Hi May,
Glad you received some appreciation for all you do for your family. Sometimes I get more gratification from charity groups than I do from family members.

Made your heart feel good didn't it. It is always uplifting when we know our quilts are special to the recepients.
