Thanks I'm over the moon. Not sure where my first post went off to, Lalaland is where I reside... but it was to kick against the goads as I thought it was lost forever. I'm still so thankful when I think of it. Sqwee!

So do you have any fabrics in your Y2K quilt that actually are Y2K patterns. I see a wonderful variety of fabrics but unless the print has a Y2K theme, I don't know that I would recognize it as a Y2K fabric. Love your quilt and I'm glad you tracked it down! and what is the http for the pattern? This might be one I need to work on :-) hmm pinwheel in center surrounded by 4 blocks.... I can figure it out. 2000 different fabrics. a scrappy joy!

Wonderful!! So happy for you!! After all the hard work of purging unwanted blankets and getting your linen closet cleaned out, you were doubly rewarded!

When you resize your photos, reduce the resolution, not the size. That way they are big enough to see, but the server sees them as small (Most monitors can't display more than 72 dpi anyway.). I reduce mine to 96 dpi and it works fine on all websites.

Not so much, no the fabric isn't Y2K what made it,... what makes it special and completely unique was that I swapped for All the scraps. We sent 25 charms and a siggie block all over the world. I sent out 100 and the return is what you see in the shoe box and in the quilt. I'm hosting one now because I thought my quilt was lost.

The site is no longer there, good thing I printed out the pattern, it was a mystery. There's another block not shown here though which has a pinwheel and a star which connects throughout the quilt. It's a shame the sites gone as it's a really swell quilt.

    woohoo, you found it!
I am just perplexed when I've lost something and can't get my feelings
right. Having the paperwork that goes with it after all this time is a plus.

I can't believe it... my LA has finished all but the last row of blocks. My quilt will be in the mail again here shortly and we can have another quilt! One without holes where the batiks didn't shatter, one that can be washed because it's not falling apart. It will be so nice. Gee, I need to figure out what I'll use for the binding. I have a nice deep dark blue, has black strands and gold sprinkles, sounds terrible, it's actually a lot nicer then it sounds. I'll have to get you a photo as we get closer. I'm gobsmacked at how fast this came together. Jumping up and down.
