Shades of blue (or any color for that matter) would make a great looking D9P. Please post a picture of it when you finish.

Cats always love anything they know they aren't supposed to be on! I have three and try laying out anything with them around!

I made this D9P in 3 shades of yellow and 3 shades of blue, but it would have worked in just blues or just yellows I think. Having the same print for all the corner blocks and the same check for all the center blocks really ties the whole thing together. This would still work with just blues or any other color, just use a print in that color and a center to tie them all together.

This probably sounds silly, but I am trying to figure out a small quilt...for my mother's cat...but I suppose that is beside the point. Mom really really only likes blue and has requested blue.

I have a great deal of trouble visualizing this...wondering about adding white.

Anyway...has anyone done this? Can I find pictures somewhere?
Not a D9P but I did this one in 3 shades of blue.

Ranger and wildyard....beautiful quilts. I have some of that daily fabric, wildyard. I love it.

I have started on this quilt, and I will post it when I am finished. I didn't quite end up doing what I started out to....not uncommon for me. :)

[quote=MaryAnnMc]Don't feel too strange abut making a quilt for the cat. I made two "cat mats" for our Spooky, because he was leaving black hair all over the place. He liked them a lot, right up until he realized we really, really wanted him to sleep on them. Now I can't get him anywhere near them. That's a cat for ya! quote]

Funny, We bought our cats a very soft fuzzy cat bed. They enjoyed is for about a week. Than they stopped sleeping in it and now I have a very soft fuzzy bed that just sits in the floor. I think I am going to donate it to the shelter.
