And cutting lots of 2-1/2" squares for a 6" finished block. We'll see how it goes when putting it together.

Now that I have my scraps cut into squares, I hope to strip piece the ones I cut from larger pieces of fabric. Those little 1-1/2" squares will be a pain to work with.

Sounds very doable and the fabric king knows I have a LOT of stash, time to start using something I already have . I'm in.

I just got up with the worst cold and fever. So I will not be going to work tonight. Upper respiratory infections and premature babies don't mix. I thought I was a little more tired than normal this morning.

To answer some questions I have been getting. Since you will be using the blocks yourself you can turn them into whatever you want. Make it scrappy or make it more controlled. The idea was to use your stash. I know we have some newer quilters joining us who don't have extensive stashes and since they are buying fabric they may want to plan their blocks for their final project. Hope that answers that for everyone. This is a "Burger King" project-Make it your way.

I have added the people from page 11. Please everyone go to the project page and make sure your name is there. I don't want to miss anyone. Here is the link again-

Now I am going to go see if I can find the tylenol and some chicken soup. I will be back.

Swan Song, take care of yourself, and thanks for putting this together. I think it is going to be a lot of fun to see what emerges from this challenge.
