I got dropped from this thread ages ago. I did get additonal fabric to finish the first set I started, just haven't gotten back to them. Started another set, made about 24 and had to cut more fabric to make a few more. These are going into a D9P, I will post pictures after I get the 9 patches done.

I just had to vent, but I love these nine patches. I have lots of patches cut, just have to sit down and sew them together.

Oh see my new thread....."What a find!"

Ruth, if you are having trouble with a new blade, carefully check to see if you might have two blades together. Other than that I check to see if I put it back together correctly. I can never remember how it should go:)

Ann Clare, The red white and black quilt is quite stunning! I love it! Your other quilts are very pretty as well, but the red white and black one really caught my eye!!

Our local quilt shop is doing something similiar to this called the "Nine Patch Quilt Along." You make a 9 patch of any size and type each day in month of August. You take the month of September to make the blocks into a quilt top. On October 2nd you bring your quilt or quilt top into the shop for a show and tell event. People who live too far to come in can post a picture of their's on the website. I like the idea cause it's something everyone can do, regardless of skill level. They are running a blog throughout through which people can give updates on their progress if they want.

ann clair, beautiful projects. This is such a fun project because we are using up scraps/stash and getting beautiful results. I am working on "twisting" some 9p now. I hope to post pictures soon!

wow ann clare, not only do you have blocks done, but you've taken them one step further and have projects done. Way to go--I'm still piecing 9 pastel 9 patches!
