Enjoy the show and I hope you find lots you love. Months later as you look at your fabric you will remember the great time you had at the show.

    How fun!

I'm on a temporary moratorium but that's just because in July we're going on a road trip that will include 2 quilt shows and as many quilt shops as I can squeeze in. I'm saving up for that.

have fun but remember when you shop at quilt shows you may buy something that you can never get more of....we make a round of all the vendors and mark down what we "MAY" want, then go back to look again thinking about if we really want to make that purchase. Two years ago when visiting a local quilt shop, I was very interested in a book and template and I didn't buy it, last year we weren't able to make the show and I wanted it so bad. This year I immediately trekked around looking for the vendor. I found her and bought the book and template at $45. That was 3 months ago and I haven't taken the plastic covering off either yet. Not regretting the purchase but I didn't really "need" it. And now there is another book for $35 that to do the patterns I want to do, you have to purchase....Good thing is I have her card now and can buy it from her anytime.

What fun! I hope you find lots of goodies to drool over (although they might ask you to leave if you do that LOL)

If it brings you joy, spend like there's no tomorrow! Life is too short so we all may as well have a good time.

Have a great time! I did the same thing when I was paid for the first quilt I made for pay. Spent it all on the Vermont Shop Hop, and then some. Got some good bargains and am happily using up the fabric. I also got a good deal on several cones of thread, plus found a shop owner who drives to Canada to buy many cones of very good thread at a very good price. I'll be doing business with her again! As someone said, get business cards, or keep the program book from the show. I always keep them so I can track people down for things I regret NOT buying later on. Wear your comfy shoes and try to find a place to leave your stuff as you go around so you don't have to lug it all! My hubby often likes sitting on a bench somewhere and holding my packages for me.

Lol, apparently not for me either. Half my fabric is sitting in KY right now. I'm finding it extremely limiting to not have choices on hand. Oh well, a good excuse to go shopping. Lol

Lucky you. I'm jealous. I remember a few years back when I actually had some "mad" money in my possession, so when a friend and I attended some area quilt shows I looked for and found lots of "cat fabric" so I could make a special cat quilt just for me. It's still on my "Roundtoit List", but hope to make it some day. Happy shopping.
