I've searched all over the internet for a quilt retreat to go to this summer with no luck. Either they are in the wrong part of the country or the wrong time of year. Has anyone gone to a really good retreat that I could check out? I would like to go with my SIL so anything between MI and GA we could make work. Any help would be appreciated.

Please consider Threads of Time fabric shop and retreat center in Danville IL. It's about a mile off I-74, which runs east & west in central IL. They have a website showing rooms & amenities. I have an 'open' retreat every other month, but people book it all the time. Some weekends in 2011 are already full - as is the whole month of October! We all love it there.

There are quilting retreats in Berlin,Oh (Amish area) quite often. Maybe the CofC or tourist office would know. You could also ask sewing machine stores & quilt shops.

I need to see a map to see the States; geography (and spelling) are NOT my strong areas:(
But I think something in Kentucky or Tenn would be more in between MI and GA.

Ohio is a neighbor of Mich, so pretty close by.
