Default No more magazines at Hobby Lobby?

Did Hobby Lobby stop carrying magazines? I was in our store yesterday and there were NO magazines. Not one. The usual racks were filled with books. Not a single magazine. Asked a clerk and she pointed to the rack. I said "All books, no magazines". She had no idea why. Sorry to see this since I often buy a quilt or craft mag there, esp w the 40% off coupon ... ??

I have noticed this the last two weeks. Hard enough finding quilting magazines as it is.

Subscriptions are cheaper. With online info so prevalent ....magazines are closing down.

WOW. I don't get to Hobby Lobby to often but I like looking thru the magazines to see if there was something I wanted to buy. We need to send emails to the corporate office. Subscriptions to magazines are not getting cheaper. Tried to renew my subscriptions to Quilter's World and there was nothing offer like the deal with my first subscription. They give you huge discounts to hook you in and then they want full price. At least they allow you to look at small photos of what is in their magazines so I am just going to check quarterly to see if I want to buy a digital copy.

That is odd I can understand if there is limited space, but come on no magazines at all that is just weird. Most of the magazines and books are in the front of the store that my Hobby Lobby.

I'm pretty sure an independent stocks the magazines. Maybe there is no one doing that job in the area right now.

I noticed that at my local Hobby Lobby store this past Saturday. No magazines in the rack. It is disappointing, I usually bought my magazines there.

Same here in Corpus Christi but only very few. A few in the area of the craft/hobby but still just a few.

I have frequently purchased magazines at Hobby Lobby-with my coupon if I didn't find some other treasure to use it on. If this is true, I will be disappointed. Because so many items that I buy are already discounted I use my coupons for Pellon brand webbing for applique, special interfacings and interliings or batting on the roll.
