Gee I didn't know they disappeared after a while. Guess I have to do something different.

It sounds like a good plan but this most days this is as much quilting I can get in my day. It gives me hope and a goal.

I do the same as you selm, I have a huge Quilt folder on my computer screen (well the icon is small but a lot of patterns & tutorials save in there) where everything goes. I'm not sure how to save them to a "flash drive" I'm assuming that's one of those little USB stick things you can put into USB port, but I wouldn't know how to transfer the file to it. Just have to pray my computer never crashes.

I post lots and lots of pictures and links to Pinterest. But the free downloads do go into a folder on my desktop. Periodically I look through them and will delete some.

I print a lot of quilt patterns. I have over 20 binders full. I tell myself to quilt but I don't. I don't gamble or have any nasty habit except this if this is a bad habit. I try to limit it but don't do well at it.

I am so with you on this pledge. If I live long enough I might make it through half the free patterns and favorites. So I should live to be a ripe old age. I'm out of control!!! Will never make a fraction of all of the above. I wish us both luck!

    Blessings, Ellie

I still print out patterns but it's usually ones I know I will use. I have to have it right in front of me when I'm sewing and cutting. I guess I'm a visual person. I don't have a computer in my sewing room, so I can't just pull up a picture and look at it. I get joy from looking at my patterns. I keep used copy paper and print on it.

I too now put mine on word doc and save to my hard drive or put off on thumb drive or ce or external drive. I used to print all and was spending a lot on ink, now I just copy and past to word doc and save to where ever I choose. Plus wed are saving paper, trees and space in our sewing rooms, lol. Good Luck to you julienm 1
