I say take your time healing. I was foolish after my 2nd shoulder procedure and figured oh what can be so nard about just gently guiding the fabric with the tips of my finger - well not only did I hurt myself bad - pinched a nerve AND afterwards I realized that none of my seams were even . After my first procedure I tried hand sewing 2" squares together, how can holding tiny pieces together hurt - duh it hurts!!!
Lol will I learn? And for the member whose dd mentioned getting out of baking - I baked with one arm! Lol

When my shoulder hurt I used my sewing pillow to support the book I was reading. Then my kids bought me a Nook and I still used the quilting pillow.
At least you can still dream and plan ... and maybe, if you get some gift certificates for a LQS for the Holidays figure out what you want to do with them.
Heal well.

So sorry about your shoulder...that's a rough one. Hope it's healed for you soon. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy Healthy New Year. Read up on some new patterns you can make when you're back in the swing of things.
