    Wow! What a touching story. Four generations of Quilters/Sewers. I'm sure your Mom shed a few tears of joy over your Kindness and the interest from her Great-Granddaughter. Thank You for sharing!!!

    I remember teaching my DD to sew.I was so proud when she e mailed a picture of her first quilt.It was a baby quilt,but she had hand quilted it.That will be one of my finest gifts and memories for always.

    Awesome memories! I pray the one day my 5 year old granddaughter will want to learn to sew...and that I'll be blessed that she'll want me to teach her! None of my daughters have the desire or patience for it.
