My pressure foot broke the other day so I bought a new one. I have been trying to snap the new foot on for the past couple of days. Today I realized the pressure foot shank is broke too. Aarrgh. Since I have to order the shank are there any other feet I should add? I'm a beginner so I don't have anything other than the zig zag foot.

An open toe applique foot is very handy, I use it sometimes for SID too. Also handy for decorative stitching.
Maybe a walking foot, it makes the world of difference when sewing through more than 2 layers.
A joining foot is handy for sewing batting pieces together.

No sewing for me either this week. Featherweight is in the shop being repaired and Pfaff has tension problems so when the Featherweight comes out the Pfaff goes in. Now I'm setting up my Babylock so I can sew next week! Good thing I'm not out of machines!
