Not a lot of quilt shopping during vacation.
#1
Well, I am back from vacation, been back a week now and just catching up on things. I had intentions of going to several quilt shops along the way, but as things happen, I didn't get but to a few....and they weren't quilt shops.
I went to visit my son, with my mother and sister. it was a very nice visit with my son!
The main point of this post is to give kudos to the Coastal Sew and Vac. It is located on Hwy 49 in Gulfport, MS and carries more fabric than I have ever seen in a sew and vac! They were almost the size of a small quilt shop! They did have a small corner with vac stuff as well, but mostly fabric. And, very well priced. They had it in all ranges, from $3.95/yd for stuff that you would find at Walmart all the way to $10/yd. So, I did pick up several pieces there. And, my son is headed home in two weeks and we will be headed to ND for a small vacation where I can visit quilt shops there!
