Not sure how to quilt this
#21
I ttok the boards advise and made a practice sandwich. It is not quite the same color order or block size as the real piece, but it gave me a chance to try the gentle curves. I like it, it was kind of hard to photograph, but I think the quilted effect shows. Thanks for all of the good ideas. Now on to the main event! ...and I am still using the Singer 15-88 treadle!

I love to look at the Linda Taylor site as she does so many great patterns giving you lots of great ideas. Also buy a clear plastic sheet to lay over your quilt and with a erasable marker (just on the heavy plastic) try out a couple of patterns see which one you like best. Put painters tape on the edge of the plastic so you won't get ink on your beautiful quilt. This sheet had a name but I don't remember the name. Hope this gives you some ideas.
