A note that every quilter wants to read, at least once

What a lovely thing you are doing for your family. I'm so glad that your sister-in-law recognized your love and attention to finishing up these quilts for your mother-in-law now that she is gone. They will be treasured by those who receive them it sounds like.

So nice. Just this morning at church a lady thanked me for a quilt I made for her daughter back in May for graduation. No matter how long after the fact it's really nice to be thanked. ( and a little praise is just icing on the cake )

Quilts finished--Jenny Penny
Hi Jenny Penny,
What a wonderful gesture! I personally know how kind and thoughtful you are. You have helped me at different times with my quilting.
I am so glad you got to finish those UFO's your mother-in-law left. I will bet she is looking down and thinking to herself what a wonderful daughter-in-law she had/has.
Keep enjoying your quilting!
Mariah/Martha.

A wonderful story! Bet your MIL is looking down and thinking "what a wonderful daughter-in-law I have/had." That is just wonderful.
I can give examples of how kind you are and what you have done for me when I didn't know which way to turn. You were a life-saver!
Mariah/Martha.

It was indeed a wonderful thing to do, and I'm glad you did it. Quilters tend to be generous and loving people, and you are one more proof. I suspect that you got a lot of benefit out of doing this loving thing.... You got to appreciate and even thank your MIL for all she had done for you. Makes me wish my mother or MIL had been a quilter! You deserve the extended family you have!

This story was so wonderful after reading so many about people who do not appreciate the gift of a quilt. You are a beautiful person for sharing your talent with your family! And thank you for sharing this message with us.
