I'm looking for a seam ripper like one I had but lost. Instead of having a separate cap, it folds inside like the thumb drives that have the cover attached.

My lift and snip scissors. Safer than quick-unpicks, you can undo one stitch at a time without risk of cutting the wrong fabric. Great for cross stitcher's too!

If you mean the scissors, I use them when unpicking. The point at the end of the cutaway part slips under the stitch, then you just cut like an ordinary scissors. I find them much safer than a quick-unpick - less chance of them slipping and cutting the fabric. I first bought them years ago when I did cross stitch.Working with 2 strands over 28 count linen, they were better for removing stitches without cutting the *expensive* linen. Cost about $A14.

I have several pairs of those scissors,
they are the kind that are used in medical suture removal kits.

My favorite would have to be my Gingher scissors my hubby got me and my #2 favorite is my Fiskar's rotary cutter and ruler in one!

My wish list is 1). some clover yo-yo makers
2.) One of those hoops that goes on a stand.
I have trouble finding the fiskar's replacement blades for my rotary cutters.

My favorite tool is the Rotary cutter.
