You may want to check out the Ben Franklin store in Frankenmuth-if it's still there. Lots of fabrics. I think the quilt shop you're talking about is mostly imports from China.

Went to the Novi show on Friday. I thought it was rather disappointing.

Thanks! Good to know - I wasn't sure if I was going to have time to go. Guess I should just stay home and sew. I can always order what I need online.

I thought that show was the cat's meow. It had so much to offer and I always spend money there. There were many other sewing and handcrafts there also. I haven't been for a good six or seven years so it could be different now.

I was wondering how it was, I went last year, was a little disappointed. Part of that is I am really only into quilting, if I sewed clothes it would have been great. And if I was in the market for a new machine, it would have been good, too. Could have went this year, but did some quilt shops.
