Is anyone going or has been.
Are the quilting booths grouped together?
Can you buy fabric off the bolt or just fq and jelly ect?
If not is ther a quilt or joannes close by?
Will be coming up I96 from the bridge.
    Thanks Gale

I have been to Novi expo and wish I could go again this year but too far away. They have many fat quarters, patterns, supplies and some interesting things. There was a woman who made furry hats with soft linings for cancer victims and sells the patterns there.
I also picked up some wool yarns and patterns for hats, shawls, etc. Quite a variety and fun to do on a fall day.
Hope you go and have fun. Wish I could be there. They may have a web site with the vendors posted.

I go every year... many vendors, many good things There are vendors that sell off the bolt, sell kits. Many sewing and quilting machines - most can be taken for a test drive... I go when they open on Firday and ususally meet my hubby for dinner after. Nice to spend the day. They have vendors for food, sitting areas ... classes that you can sign up for.

Don't waste your time at the "quilt shop" in Frankenmuth. We were there this summer and it isn't worth the trip. Hardly any fabric at all. No books or patterns that I could see. Mostly quilts for sale and the few that I looked closely at I wasn't impressed with the quality of the quilting.
