This is but one type of nuttiness we all share. There are many others, so stay tuned. You'll soon be learning about all the rest of them. 8-)

Yes this is me also. I no longer take my family with me or will the go with me to a fabric shop. I can spend hours there. I have a nice stash going. Or should I say a mini quilt shop going on in my room. I too like to by fabric without having a project in mind. My husband just shakes his head whenever I have gone to town cause he knows that I have more fabric in hand. Its gotten to the point that I bribe him with a trip to Menards or Lowes just so I can go to the fabric shop. Then he cant say anything cause he has gotten his goodies also, lol. The plus in this is I dont have to go to Menards or Lowes any longer, he just drops me off and gives me a jingle to see if I'm ready.

    Guilty on all counts. Sharon

I, too, have a fabric related addiction. My son made me aware of it just the other day. I have gotten to the point where I NEED to have items next to my chair to take apart for the fabric. I started doing it out of necessity, but now my hands become very restless if they are idle, and don't have something to be ripping at. I have to hit the thrift store for stuff to dismantle, even if I have no specific use for it.
Since I'm collecting I Spy stuff, I can't find much in clothing and linens that are appropriate for that, so I just buy solids and neutrals and tone on tones in shirts and such; and bedskirts for long sections of fabric with lots of repeats. Anything to feed my habit. LOL

I love your reply, I fall right in with you on this. I was not sad but actually angry when HGTV cancelled Simply Quilts. I try to check each time I leave the house to be sure my threads coordinate with what I am wearing. lol.

Yes, that's me also. First thing I do in Walmart is head for the fabrics and the magazines. I have about 5 or so cereal boxes full of quilting magazines. My daughter says that I have enough but I can't stop buying. And "Simply Quilts", I was devastated when that show ended. I dream about quilting and I always have a box of magazines on my bed incase I wake or and can't get back to sleep. I just pick up a mag and read through it until my eyes get tired and blurry.

What do you mean, there is work that we are suppose to do First! Well,I never. Guess I will have to clean once in awhile, something besides the sewing/craft room. Just kidding I do cook & wash the dishes & clothes when I must. But alway got to get to sew on something too. I have projects started, waiting & pending. So chores simply can't take over for long. LOL
