I have not made an OBW yet - on my list, but just hasn't made it to the top yet!
Anyway, why do some OBW quilters put a cluster of cubes in their OBWs? Is it a "tradition"? Is there some meaning behind the cubes?
    Just curious..... :)

I'm currently making my first OBW and i'm adding cubes. I wasn't thrilled with the way the OBW pattern came out on my hexis and decided the cubes would add something to it. The cubes looked so tricky so I wanted to see if I can do it. And I can! They are fun!!

It is a personal preference to add these. They were mentioned in the second book, and added into the third one :D:D:D
