Default October 15 Fons and Porter episode?

Wondering did anyone else this episode with the strip piecing method over light stablizer that forms the star pattern? I missed the first few minutes (seconds?) when she told us how wide she cut her strips...i know one was 1.5" not sure about the others?? I don't find this episode on their website - perhaps it is too new but if anyone can help, TIA!!!

Do you know what series and show number they were airing? I only get them on the http://createtv.com/ channel. They will be showing #2807 on Monday. I have some on DVR, 2700 and up to 2806, (and maybe 2600, not sure). If the show was before the 2806 show, I might be able to find it. You might be able to get the show number off the station in your area that you watch the show on. Sometimes they list the schedule online.

Thank you for directing me to the link to look it up. I could not find show Fons and Porter listed there. I am going to see if I can find the channel and if I learn the episode #, I will let you know. It was a really great quilt!! I think I can improvise without the width of the strips...Thank you for offering to help me out.

The quilt shown on the show in my area this morning was the Folk Dance quilt.

I saw it several days ago on my TV - I just remember that the last one just had to be big enough to cover the area. The episode that was on my TV today was with a lady that made a Dresdan with two sizes of plates - lots of work.

Saturday and Sundays are my laundry and howe cleaning days. No time to watch TV.
We plan to retire end of year and I plan on seeing what is on. After I sleep late.

I don't remember the lady's name, but I caught the show. She was demonstrating what she called sister blocks: three identical pairs of blocks in different color ways. All of her strip piecing strips were 1 1/2", but she said that you could cut yours whatever widths you wanted. You could even mix up the strip widths if you wanted to.

I'm sorry I can't tell what the finished block sizes were, but the quilt had six blocks plus borders. It was a comfortable lap size quilt. Three of the blocks were in reds and oranges with the sisters in blues and greens, right?
