My floor lamps are going on 5 years. So we shall see how long they last, can't beat that when used for long periods of time and all the time.

I love the Ott Lights. Buy with a coupon at JoAnn for a better price. I use one on the arm of my couch to direct the light right onto my project. Works like a charm. Then can carry it with me when going to son's houses where there is no needlework in sight and few lamps.

    Money well spent.

I have had mine for 2 years without having to replace it.

    Good luck!

Do the Ott Lights produce a lot of heat?
