Hi Cande - in the Warm Wishes pattern, the centre strip is wider than the 2 outer strips here's a link http://www.ashevillequiltguild.org/A...or%20Linus.pdf

    :-D

Yea, it is supposed to be. I didn't actually follow a pattern or instructions for this, so my little strips are all the same size, but the white should be a little wider than the other two colours.

Sorry Mel - I didn't mean to imply that you'd done it 'wrong'!

    Hi Cande,

As others have said, that's a Warm Wishes quilt. Here's a link to the pattern and some info about it.

Even though Quiltmaker says the crib size is available on their site, it was not there recently when I looked for it. Finally emailed them...and they don't know why it's not there either :). I was happy to see the reply with the link to the Linus directions.

when i see a quilt that i like and measure the squres and they are 5 inches i add a quarter inch to each side to allow for seam allowance it ussually comes out right or i use a piece of scrapp material for the first square i make to make shure of how to make tham and that the acual ones will come out right

Cande: I have made several Warm Wishes quilts over the quilt pattern on the Internet. My focus block was 6 inches square and the "rail fence" blocks were also a total of 6 inches. The strips for the rail fence were cut in strips measuring 2", 3" and 2". When put together it made a 6-inch strip and then I cut the strip in 6-in sections. The 3-inch strip was the middle strip of the rail fence. Very easy and it went together so quickly. If you send me a Private Message and give me your e-mail address, I will forward you a picture. For some reason I have not been able to download it to "my pictures" in order to post it here.
