Thanks for posting the pictures! I have a Pfaff Performance 5.0 so it will probably work on my machine, too. What is the name and part number? Where did you purchase it?

My Bernina has a quarter inch foot that seems equal on both sides. But the needle doesn't come down right in the center. You would have to move the needle so it was the same distance from both "toes".

Looking for this foot? Here is a link and the product # is 82088-3096. Fast and very nice people to deal with! No online orders but they have an 800 number. Price was about $25 including shipping.

When I get to the point of the star, I just stitch backwards up the other side. Maybe I can do it in 3 months instead of 6!

Tip:Find one for your machine if possible!

I had to chuckle a well Jan, I broke my left foot in August and had so many problems with it, including blood clot in the left leg week in the hospital and still on blood thinner, I fit thought perhaps an artificial limb, but then decided, it must be an attachment to the sewing machine Congrats on your new foot, hope it works out well Where did you find it?

As you can see below, Pfaff used to make their 1/4" foot the same on both sides, but changed to the wider one as apparently it gripped the fabric better (haven't found any noticeable difference myself). Pfaff owners may be able to pick one up on eBay or from old stock

Here is an update on the availability of that foot. I called Sew Complete just a few minutes ago and they told me that they have been inundated with phone calls for the 820883-096 foot, they have it in stock, but she said they are just a small sewing shop and therefore are not set up for mail order selling. They said they will only be selling this foot to individuals who have either bought their Pfaff machines from them or live with the immediate area of around 60 miles but then changed it to 180 miles if there was no dealer closer to the caller. So, save your time calling them unless you fit the above criteria. She also said that people should call their local dealers to get the foot locally. I did tell her that I would be posting this message.

I'm so sorry!! LOL And my apologies to them! Still now that you have the product number, any Pfaff dealer can order it for you I'd think.

Oh, no problem! I'm so glad you told us about the foot! I did go down to the local Pfaff dealer and they even had it in stock, so I, too, am a happy camper today!
