    Kathie,
I have a 201K treadle machine, I just love mine. I make potholders and quilts with my 201. I think its the quietest machine I own. DO NOT take the bobbin case out unless under great duress, its a PITA to get it back in properly.
Oil every where it shows in the manual, just 1 drop in each area.

Isn't it a great feeling when you get to be the high bidder on an item. Congratulations and enjoy your fgood luck.

Sharon - I'd be interested to hear what problems you had with FMQ on your 201 - I've not done too well with my first efforts, but have been hoping it was just because I needed more practice. Unfortunately the 15s and the 301 aren't generally available in the UK - I don't think they were sold in Europe.
Interesting that you have a 201K - weren't those manufactured in Scotland? Do you know how yours ended up in the US?
