Ok! How about Soccer balls and spools and Dresden plates. Maybe fans or hst. More of a simpler nature. Maybe do an illusion with pink and purple scraps with pink and purple sashings and borders.

Well I'm going fabric shopping next week so I'm sure I can find something that will work. I saw some pink soccer print that I want to use, then add some purple to the mix. I just thought it was funny how she asked for it. She was so serious and made sure that I know that "girly" is out. I sure am glad that she has a baby sister that I can still sew "girly" for. LOL Funny that camo was mentioned because she loves camo. I recently made her younger brother a backpack out of some left over camo from a jacket I made her mother last Christmas. She loves it and wants one of her own in purple camo, which is already on the list for Christmas this year.

I agree, we Grandmas can do anything. You will find just the right combination of soccer balls, pink and purple and she will be thrilled. My grands always think I can "whip it up" in a minute! Haha. Don't forget to post a picture when done.

Awwwww I have a granddaughter who was the same way,and I had the honor of making her a red and gold softball themed quilt. Red and gold are her high school colors, and she is a outstanding pitcher. Best of luck!!
