i would find some of those tubs and pack everything in there and stack them. that way later when you go through it, they will be all in one place.

I know the feeling - have been housecleaning - i do it one time a year thoroughly - just before getting the summertime company - well, I'm glad I left MY ROOM till last - I did the rest of the house - in less than one week! I've been in this pit (MY ROOM) for one week to the day- and still am not done!!! But, the good thing? I see the bright light at the end of the tunnel!!!! :) All is not futile even if it feels that way!

Actually, those playpen/portable cribs work great for temporary storage if the baby isn't going to use it. They can be found inexpensively at second-hand shops. And they really do hold a lot!

Playpen idea is great. I remember a few years ago we went to visit some friends for the Holidays who had a 18 month old. We all got a good laugh when we saw the the Christmas Tree was in the playpen and the child was running around the floor. They couldn't keep him away from the tree and he wouldn't stay in the playpen so problem solved.
