The metal tip aren't really necessary and are a pain in the neck to clean. Just barely open the Elmers and put little dots on the fabric. I have been using glue a lot in different applications. If you are doing bindings that you want to hand stitch down, make sure you press the binding after glueing as that will keep it from getting hard.

I have been busy looking at everyone s suggestions and book marking them.Making a list of places to find the tips.. Joann's did not have them. I went to 2 of them that where near me. You all are very helpful. Thank you
