    Default Ohio Valley Quilt Guild

I attended my first meeting at the Ohio Valley Quilt Guild last night to see if I wanted to join. Lots of fun and knowledge there. I never had been to any Guild meeting but after reading about several people trying them out on here, I decided to do the same. I will be mailing in my membership fee today. So thanks to all those who attended a guild meeting and shared the experience! The program at last night's was pretty interesting, several ladies shared tours of their sewing rooms. It's always fun to see how others set theirs up. And of course, I enjoyed the Show and Tell.

Show and Tell was always my favorite. When I had more time on my hands, I pushed myself to have a new 'show' for each meeting. It really helped me learn new techniques and gave me a lot of practice in general. Enjoy your new guild!

Beck55, technically it's in Blue Ash. Too bad you didn't live closer!

I need to check them out. I belong to the Rivertown Quilters Guild and really enjoy the meetings.

I am glad you found a guild. THey are such fun. To 117Becca, you need to check with some of the guilds in your area. They may know one that meets on the weekends. Good luck to all.
