Found a large box labeled 'solids' in my front hall closet that I had completely forgot about buying. Anyway, I bought it last year at a yard sale for $2.00 or $3.00. After opening it, I found a ton of white & beige/ivory color fabric. Each piece is at least 2-3 yards. They're not thin so I'm thinking it's either a good quality fabric, or sheets.
I've heard that it's difficult trying to quilt thru sheets and if so, I didn't want to use them. My question is, how can I tell if they're sheets?
Thanks.

Well I don't think it has to do with actually being a sheet or not, but acutally depends on the thread count. SO.... Start counting. lol I however have used a sheet for backing and it was not any harder to quilt than using any other quilting fabric for the back. I was quilting by machine, so if you are hand quilting it may be different!
