Another great thing about your "accident" is that you have a week to get better and be off that Nyquil, so you'll be able to remember more at your class! Glad to hear the store owner was in better spirits (how could she not be seeing all your newly purchased tools and then the joy all the EXTRA new things you bought! :D

Don't feel bad, once when I was working 2 jobs (in my younger days) I had taken a nap and when I woke up, I thought it was morning and went to the wrong job. I wondered why they were closed all of the sudden

But then, I'm a blond too!

Oh I love it! I'm a blond too and my finest moment came when my car wouldn't start. I called my brother to drive 20 miles to come get me...He hopped in to pull the hood handle...The car was not in neutral  He very quietly got out and drove the 20 miles back home.  Yet...he still speaks to me today :D

Oh yeah! I did something like that! I think I blocked it! Luckily I eventually realized what the problem was. I waited until they fiddled with the car more, and the next time the guys (yes, plural! I think there were three puzzling under that hood) said to try to turn it on, it did! I gave them tons of Kudos them drove off into the sunset!

:D :D :D Good thing we can laugh about those "accidents" now. Heres my "best" 1. Back before my DH & I were married, we showed horses together. He owned the horse trailer and took it to have it painted to match his truck (ok...its a horsey showey thing or was at the time). He brought it back to the barn after being without it for a month all shiny and pretty. One morning, I parked my car in front of it and went to visit and get my coffee. Shortly after, I got in the car to leave and very carefully...backed right into it. I got so upset, that I pulled forward, then while trying to put the car in P, I put it in R and backed into it again! By now...of course, I've drawn a crowd...so I pulled forward again..put the car in what I thought was P...leapt out...and you guessed it..the CAR backed into the trailer AGAIN! Now..I'm really upset..my future DH got in the car, pulled it away from the trailer and aimed it at the driveway..took a look at me..said..get in and pointed down the drive. BUT...turned out good...we just celebrated 24 yrs. together! Needless to say, he has been driving us for most of those yrs.

You are not alone. My girlfriend and her husband went to his company picnic that was and hour and a half drive last Saturday. Only to find out that it is this coming Saturday.

They found a new meat market that they really like. They came back with all kinds of sausage and jerky and steak. yumm.

Anyway, when something like that happens, it's always good to make the best of it. It sounds like you did.
