Is it ok to press tailor's chalk?
I read a thread where this was discussed and my take away was, "Just don't press any kind of pencil or marker, but I can't remember if tailor's chalk was covered. Have you done it? What happened? It wouldn't be convenient to wash and dry this piece of a T-shirt quilt... Thanks, Patti

Hey, it happens to all of us at one time or another. Please don't ask me how I know -- not with tailor's chalk or anything quilt related, but it seems like I'd forget my head if it weren't tied on. Sit stuff down -- then can't remember where I put it! lol!

One reason so many of us have said "do a test" is that - we did not do a test before going ahead. So it is a 'voice of experience' sort of thing.
And even after saying that - sometimes we don't do 'the test' - before proceeding - and we regret not having taken a few moments to save ourselves a lot of bother.

And then can't 'see' it - even when the object is within sight! sigh
