I piece on my bernina 630 and just recently acquired FW. I FMQ on my HQ16-sit down version. Love all of my machines. Can't imagine quilting without them. :-)

Food is the one thing he never gripes about spending money on. He thinks making quilts is a waste of time.

Did you inform him that eating is a luxury and he won't be getting that for a while?

I love the underwear one! I'm thinking some of his clothes might need to be mended!

I was thinking more along the lines of clean underwear being a luxury.

My dream machine??? Well -- I piece on the Janome and I quilt on the heavy duty school New HOme. Actually my true DREAM machine to use is a vintage 1896 treadle Singer that was given to me and never restored.

I would tell him so is sex, and he isn't getting any until I get a new sewing machine. And I would probably include hot meals too. Dinner from now on is a cold can of beans. With the can opener to open it himself. And he can do his own darned laundry. Having a personal laundress is a luxury too.
