I use my Husqvarna Viking Diamond for embroidery mostly, my Designer SE for misc., the Topaz for the walking foot, and the Designer I for 1/4" piecing. I use the Diamond for machine quilting with the embroidery unit.

My husband knows better. Sewing is what keeps me sane and he knows I could be an unpleasant person if I don't sew. I saw some machines here at Goodwill for $39.00. I bought my Janome because my husband was going to buy another truck that we didn't need. He spent $700.00 and so did I. Now our budget is pretty tight so we both have to watch what we spend but he still buys beer so I buy fabric and notions.

Love my Janome 7700. The single whole adjustment on the plate is great and use the accufeed feed all the time for piecing and the 1/4 in foot is great. Wonderful for bindings as I can set the needle position to give me a bit wider seam and then it goes through all the thicknesses it is really a nice seam allowance. Best machine on the market.

Pffaf 7570 as it has the ability to change needle positions & has a built in walking foot. Love my machine for quilting, stitch in the ditch, etc.

I like to quilt larger quilts on my Bernina 1230, its a work horse and never gives me any trouble. I like to piece on either my Viking Designer I, or Viking Designer SE/LE. I quilt smaller quilts on the Designer II.

Dream Machine Husqvarna Viking SE/LE. Love, love, love this machine. Of course I do a lot of embroidery on both the Des. I and the Des SE so I get a lot of use out of all the machines, just depends on what I'm working on at the time. I have a really bad habit of working on two or three projects all at the same time because I don't want to get bored.

I have a new Pfaff Creative 4.0. I just got it this past summer. I LOVE IT. I am going to ask for the embroidery unit that goes with it for Christmas. I have had Pfaffs for over 25 years and wouldn't buy another machine. I had a Pfaff that I burned up the motor on after 25 years of kids clothes then quilting. I looked at all the other machines and came back to the Pfaff.
