Good thoughts. The threads are locked on one end but not the other! One is extremely short and the other is long enough to tie but nothing to tie it to! Last night I pulled through what I could and put just a pinhead dot of fraycheck on the thread. Today it feels ok. Not too stiff. This is a quilt that will travel in a horse trailer/camper to horse shows so it will be washed a LOT! Had to anchor threads somehow that would hold them. I am hoping the fraycheck won't harm the fabric. Thanks for the input from everyonel I plan to ask next time to be sure they tie these off before I get it back! I guess he thought I was going to stitch the binding on over the ends of the quilting stitches. I made the borders pretty wide. Thanks everyone!
