    Fabric is fabric, whether it comes on a bolt or from a garment. I would certainly use it.

    I sure hope so! I used some flannel from a bunch of fabric that my grandma had to make nightgowns for herself out of. She passed away about 35 years ago! I used it as the "in-between" layer in rag quilts and as the lining/batting in place mats and table runners. Seems to be hanging in there just fine. :thumbup:

    Yes, I would. L.L. Bean stuff is QUALITY in a big way. It really does last. I don't get rid of stuff easily, so buy the best I can afford and keep it till it dies or fades away, thread by thread. And the L.L. Bean stuff is still in there working. Use it with pleasure for many more years.
