When I look at the same fabric in different photos some of them change due to the lighting. So, here goes my input...
    Dark: 1, 5, 9, 10
    Light: 7, 8, 11, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18 and 21
    Medium: everything else
Once you decide will you be posting a color photo? Sounds like a beautiful selection of colors!

Will be really interesting to see if we come up with the same when you post the colour.

    As it stands I see:
    Dark: 1, 5, 6, 19, 20
    Med: 2, 3, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 22, 23, 25, 26
    Light: 4, 8, 13, 16, 17, 18, 21

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to do this exercise.

I really had a hard time deciding light, medium, dark while looking at the pictures.
In fact, it took a while for me to figure out what was expected.

    Anyway:

The ones that really caught my eye were: 7, 8, 19, and 20 - so I guess they are the lightest lights

The ones that next caught my eye were: 1, 4, 6, and 9- because they look like they have light streaks or spots on/in them

The rest just kind of blended together for me.

I would say the way they are sorted in the last picture is how I would do it........... lovely fabrics.
Want to see how they work up for you.

The only ones I would change would be reverse 3 and 4, then switch out 17 and 20. Other than that it looks great.

(hey no fair..........I did not see the color ones until after I had answered) Was this a trick question?

i found it amazing how what I THOUGHT was a light (or dark) ended up being not at all what I thought. The numbers are in the order I originally thought they would land. But as you can see it did not turn out that way at all.
