At 7:30 P.M. I finished my last sewing project for the holidays! Monday and Tuesday I will clean house and sort out the sewing-craft room. Starting Wed the fun begins, baking pies, cookies ,cakes, pullapart rolls, orange rolls, and dinner rolls. I love to bake! So this will be fun for me, and 3 of my DGD's will be here to help! Thursday afternoon will be our yearly cookie deco. party with lots of calls between all the cousins. wish more of them could be here in person, but next year will have at least 6 of the 9 grands here. Happy Holidays to all. If your in my neck of the wood stop in for a fresh sweet and a cup of tea or coffee.

I am currently working on: finishing 4 more placemats for my mother's Christmas gift - they are pieced and sandwiched so just a little quilting and then the binding. When I get tired of those I have baby quilts with due dates in January and February so Christmas almost done, but .. more projects in the works. THEN I have some projects due in May so I'm going to start them so there won't be a rush - that's 3 quilts in May. If I need downtime from those I have ... 44? or so projects in bags - just need to pluck one up and start!

Well..I have a set of placemats that only need the binding sewn on. And a set of 4 placemats/napkins to make for my daughter (need them done by the 26th. The set for my daughter is only because she saw the ones I had made for DIL and wanted some herself.

I am not in a sewing mood at the moment but I will get them finished. I did make a decision today...next year, all sewn Xmas gifts will be done in the summer. I know that I never have a chance to work on things between Thanksgiving and Xmas.

I don't think I'll EVER finish EVERYTHING. It's nice to dream about though...

I know what has to start app. Jan. 2-------------cutting and piecing the quilt for next summer's ladies church group raffle. OH, and I've been informed by a non-sewing member that I need to be fair and involve a lot more ladies in doing the piecing. @@ We've already decided on the pattern and fabric, but I need to share the cutting and piecing with ladies who don't even want to hear about it. @@

Sorry, I'm grumpy right this minute!
