Alright I have a bunch of Denim and I want to make a quilt for my son out of it. But I need to get some ideas as to what I want to do.

Do I want a rag quilt, do I want something like a DP9? I dont know but I like the modern look of the different sized blocks in different shades. Kinda like the Partridge Family bus paint job.......

So post some pics of yours or you favorite designs so I can get an idea as to what I am shooting for.

I have 3 denim quilts but I just cut squares and sewed them together. I backed one with T-shirts. Backed 1 with an old blanket and buttons on the front. The other just had a solid backing. All were hand tied. I am proud of them but I don't think I want to show pic's.

I'm sorry but with dial up I can't stay connected long enough to get a new pic to post.

    http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-36218-1.htm

There should be a couple of pics here that I've done.
Hope this helps...It is self backing. Sort of like a cathedral window but not a true one. Hugs :D

I like the idea of a rag quilt, quick and easy.
