Your quilt top is beautiful!!!! Don't let anything you over heard affect what you choose for fabrics next time. You might not finish a top if you don't like the colors. So you are known for loving purple, whats the big deal-its a great color!

I was at a guild workshop last weekend where there were 16 quilters who had signed up for the class. Each had such lovely fabric, for what to be a "quick way to make a Trip around the World."
As we walked around admiring progress, I always heard the same comment "Well, of course. Yours is purple." A few of the others had selected purple as one of their 6 fabrics, but I was the only one who had 5 purples.
But I really like purple! At the same time, I did admire the choices around me. Maybe next time I will branch out and try a non-purple, but I doubt it....
Do you have a color that you just HAVE to use?
Oh, here is the top. I just finished it....and I REALLY like it. Can't go wrong with purple.
