Old Patterns
Hi.
Several years ago I bought a Tall Tree kit by Cindi Edgerton. I love it as the tree is made of 4 different tree greens plus background and a little wonky. Now I am looking for the same pattern in a smaller size but found out Cindi Edgerton retired so no website. Where do you go for out of print patterns and old kits?
I go to a knitting site where I can look for older supplies and "extra" yarns from individuals. Is there anything like that for quilters? I did look a the sale forums on Quilting Board but did not find anything listed.
Thanks and Happy New Year.

Here is the Pattern I think you are looking for. It is out of stock, but you can see the fabric requirements if that helps any. A Little Bit Shorter Tall Tree by Cindi Edgerton

If you still have the large tall tree pattern, you could use the pieces and shrink them down in size on a copy machine. You would just be remaking the same pattern you all ready have, only a different size that way.

Try adding the request to the In Search Of (ISO) chat room in here, too. Eventually, someone may send you a note that they have a copy they would be willing to sell or trade you for. Good luck!
Quiltsfor -- you are a great finder of good information. I like your idea of using the xerox machine to reduce the existing pattern, too. Thanks!

Looks like this Quilt Shop had a class just this past July - I would call or email and see if they might have a pattern left to purchase! A Little Bit Shorter Tall Tree
Ah Ha! Looks like this Canadian website has it for sale A Little Bit Shorter Tall Tree
Lastly, Cindi Edgerton is/was local here in SE Virginia and I know her patterns were well stocked in most of our Local Quilt Shops. I would contact the gals at Quilting Adventures - Richmond, VA which is where I purchased the larger pattern a few years back. Unfortunately, I did not purchase this shorter tree version.
Hope you find the pattern it sure is fun to make!
