    I know just how you feel. I didn't get all the acronyms at first either and sometimes still have to think about it. I will post some pics of my FW and her customization tomorrow. But will tell you that she matches one of our classic cars. I am naming her after my great aunt who was a beautiful little lady and a fabulous hand quilter.I am named after her and when she passed away they gave me the last quilt she pieced.The Lone Star. I do feel a lot better today.Thanks for all the prayers for our wonderful military and may GOD Bless them all.

    So happy for you. I know how you feel since I just got one yesterday. Can't wait to see what he did to upgrade it. Enjoy. Hope he will soon be home again.

    What the heck? I'm so lost on some of these entries with all the abbreviations. Please help. What do these mean:
    DD
    DH
    LQS
    I finally saw where FW is feather weight.
    Where do these abbreviations come from?

    Where do these abbreviations come from?
    DD = Dear Daughter
    DH = Dear Husband
    LQS = Local Quilt Shop
    DS = Dear Son
    DDIL = Dear Daughter-in-law
    DGS = Dear GrandSon
    etc.
