Default Omnigrid ruler double suction cup

Has anybody tried or is using the Omnigrid ruler double section cup? It is used to steady the grip on your ruler and keeps your fingers away from your rotary blade when cutting. While going to some quilt shops for my row by row pattern/kits, I came across two stores that said they loved this gripper aka Omnigrid ruler grip suction cup. I tried it for the first time last night and it's pretty good. Your thoughts?

They have been around for a while. Some shower holder are the same and less expensive. I am happy that it works for you.

If you're talking about the one that looks the same as a shower/tub handle I found it to be unsteady and too big when I use my 5"x24" ruler (IMHO). I prefer the small double suction cup with the red handle; I can use the handle and still place my fingers on the left side of the ruler.

Check kitchen & bath stores, like bed bath & beyond and hardware stores like Harbor Freight for other styles.

I have the small purple handle one, got it 4-5? years ago. Worked fine for a while, but then the suction cups wouldn't hold for any length of time.
