couple of years ago I decided to make my first quilt. Since it had curves, I whacked out some practice pieces from random pieces of fabric. Those pieces went to a friend of mine who said send her all scraps. Her group put it together and donated it to a handicaped person. I call it the one that got away.

Wonderful! Yes, it is amazing what others can do with our discards! But they went to a great cause!
