Fabric.com is my #1; easy/free returns if you get something that is not the color or scale you anticipated; quality has always been excellent, even though they did not respond to my email inquiring if they sell only first quality fabric. The minimum they sell is 1 yard. For folks desiring smaller quantities, I'd recommend Fabric Shack and Fabric Depot. When I can splurge--Hawthorne Threads, where they have a unique search feature to search by color shade.

It's Fabric Shack for me. Great selection and wonderful people. Located in Waynesville, Ohio. I am. so lucky to live within 60 miles of them and able to visit at least once a month however, I've still ordered from them when it's not convenient to drive there. Always current on their selections both yardage and precuts. It's pure eye candy inside.

If you live near a Hobby Lobby, they have a nice quality extra wide back for $11.99 a yard. It's on sale every day for 30% off. The gal at the cutting table told me, we can use the 40% off coupon they put out weekly on it, if we tell them in advance. They don't show the sale price then and they take the larger percentage off at the register. Makes it very affordable that way!
