Can you tell me more about the throw covers? Sound like a good idea. Do they take a long time to make? Do you have a picture? I'd love to have something for the adults in the family. Let me know. Thanks

I pretty much do things throughout the year and give them to people then. All the kids get a gift card to someplace they want and one gift to open. We cut back a couple of years ago when my husband was without a job for 1 1/2 years. This time of the year I'm sewing samples for the quilt shop I work at. The owners go to quilt market and then we're making samples for up coming classes.

Thanks to all of your pics I made a "Bow Tuck" purse Want to show pic when I learn how. Have the rest made or bought so feel no stress. Excited about the purse since made from
leftovers for my sil since she doesn't want a quilt for Fl.
she picked out the fabric yrs ago so I know she likes the
colors. These days sure fly by.

I'm nowhere near being ready for Christmas. Guess I better get in gear! Seems like so many other things in the way right now. Have to push them all aside! LOL

Sometimes that's what you have to do. Just push everything aside that isn't christmas and bring out your Christmas suff. Then you won't have any other distractions. Good Luck

yea sort of - 3 done. one ready to quilt. one ready to sandwich. one to finish putting rows together. one held up b/c need to get to fabric store to get the fabric for the border (didn't like what I had bought) three left to cut out. 2 rag quilts to put together (squares are all cut and sandwiched. want to make a couple of bow tucks but don't know if that will get done or not.
