I heard you had quite a shindig up in Butte for St. Paddy's Day. I have a couple of sisters over in Hamilton, one of whom makes the trek to Butte every March 17th.

It's a little late for snow, even in Butte, isn't it?

No, not really since Butte sits on the continental divide. But I'm sick of it, ready for summer.

Butte seen about 15,000 people here on the 17th. I set up my booth of quilt stuff and sold my items that day. Lots of cash flowing around. It was great. Butte can really throw a party.

Hamilton sits in that snow dead zone just west of the divide. The year I lived there, we got 8 inches of snow total. Such a disappointment, not to mention the hundreds of dollars spent on studded snow tires that were of no use.

Anybody want a set of barely used Sorels, mens size 11? *L*

sniff, sniff, my azealeas are blooming, the shamrocks are blooming, but no Easter lillies, no iris yet. They will not bloom here until at least Memorial Day. But, the roses, ahhh they well bloom at any time.

$500??? Are you forgetting I'm a quilter, too?? ALL my money goes into fabric, filler, backing, and maybe a piece of chocolate or two. BUT, I'll tell you what.........soons I have a minute, I'll send you a penny to get started on my membership. K?

You'll get the first pic Tim, IF you promise to quilt one for me....

I'm not going to ask for flowers or candy, unless of course they're printed on fabric, but I do want to know more about the quilt shop. (ALL the details please!!!)

Here in Mississippi, we've got Magnolias, Daffodils, Azaleas, roses, Buttercups (which have about all gone now), Easter Lilies, Crepe Myrtles, pollen, bees, tomato plants, swimming pools, 85 degrees, and all of the other wonders of Spring/Summer (which will last about 2 more weeks, then it'll be HOT & HUMID!!!). I'm not bragging because I could have used another week or 3 to finish the quilt I'm working on. On the other hand, no offense but I'm GLAD it's not snow!!!! 8)
