I have a terrible scrap addiction. Every week I swim in Manhattan and the LQS is only a few blocks away and I can fill a scrap bag for $6, so I have to do it, right? I mean, I can't let anyone else have them!

Honey, if it's your birthday money - you go girl. if DH gives you grief, ask about how many power tools he has purchased, and in my DH's case, how much software and computer equipment have you purchased. Just tell him that it's still a lot cheaper than therapy with tangible assets at the end of the day. Happy quilting.

From all the posts on this thread, sounds like there is an epidemic of finger slipping going on. Have fun with all your birthday loot!

If it was all purchased with birthday money he shouldn't care. That is why you were given money instead of presents wasn't it. You are going to love yor SQ 9050. I purchased it last month. I love the needle up and down button. But I get use to using it and when I use my other sewing machine that doesn't have it really messes me up, lol. Have fun with all your birthday presents to yourself.
