don't you just hate that. you are walking along minding your own business and out of know where fabric jumps in your baskets and scares the crap out of you. You have no choice but to buy it in fear that if it did that to someone else they might have a heartattack.

Yes, that's the same butterfly and the catepillar is on the other side of the WOF. I'll probably have to do him too, then it will be a matched set wall hanging I guess for a kids room.

Thread painting is the quilting portion, and you use the quilting to "paint" things with different color threads, thicknesses. It can be used to create the picture, or to embellish the picture.

Can you imagine how lonely the fabric would have been, so alone on the store shelf.

It really needed a home to go to.

You certainly got some beauties there!
I think it may be something in the air?!!! I needed a mouse for my laptop, so out I went, but geez whiz, the truck kept going for blocks & blocks....hmm, ended up at the fabric store! Gosh, I wasn't prepared for that! NOT!
This particular store has a sewing club thingy so members get an additional 25% reg priced fabric & notions. But wait...the sign said 40% off Feb 17-19th, sooooo, only a couple of little pieces fell into my arms!
Definitely will be there on the 17th!!!!!!

This must be sooo contagious! I refused to go anywhere today, then ran out of black ink for the printer, well just a few blocks to JoAnns from the office depot, then ran straight home so I wouldn't spend anymore!

Yes! and that's what started the whole thing. While waiting for the tank to fill I was really getting into the book. the book BTW is "The help". So far I'm liking it a whole lot.

Oh my! Those batiks are BEAUTIFUL! They would have "fallen" into my basket if I'd seen them sitting there all lonely in the LQS too.
